Board Chair

Gionne Marts is fiercely passionate about the restoration of the family and the divine and integral role both mothers and fathers play in the home. She understands that to shift the tide in the African American family, you have to address the problems African American young men who will one day become fathers, face. Gionne’s experience raising five children whose ages range from 27-12 has given her a unique perspective on the inner workings of family life and parenting.

Additionally, her background in building systems, strategies and operations for organizations is a longtime pursuit. Gionne brings to the table, almost a decade of experience as an executive level assistant in a sports training company as well as six years in a local high school where she held the position as assistant to the athletic director and currently serves as an administrator. Innovation drives her desire to produce excellent results wherever she finds herself. She now joins the Level the Playing Field Leadership Academy as a co-founder and board chair.
